NOTES
A planned 1982 Crépuscule release of a solo album by Virginia (originally scheduled for release on their UK subsidiary Operation Twilight). The album was to feature a series of piano pieces along with "non-human voices". The album initially only had a working title of She Sat Down And Cried, sometimes referred to as She Stood Up And Cried. Often mistakenly thought of as an early working title for From Gardens Where We Feel Secure, this album was a separate project. |
TRIVIAThere was talk of working with John Foxx on this project (and even rumours that he produced some early demos) but the hectic work schedule of Foxx meant that nothing was ever realised. Virginia did visit Foxx's studio, but this was for the recording of the Siouxsie & The Banshees 1982 single 'Fireworks'. |
